Kino SOFT
What are they?
The KINO BT SOFT polyvalent bass traps can be used as bass traps, when they are installed in corners, or as broadband acoustic panels when they are installed on flat surfaces, as broadband acoustic panels.
Based on our Kino BT bass traps, they incorporate a textile cover that absorbs the light avoiding reflections. Due to its extra thickness (120mm), it gives an extraordinary sound absorption performance over a wide frequency range (broadband absorption). They are the ideal complement for accompanying acoustic treatments with KINO SOFT panels in home cinemas.
What is the application used for?
The Bass traps have been designed specifically for the acoustic treatment of both home and commercial cinemas, TV sets and broadcasting stations. Specific treatment for controlling and reducing reverberation at low and mid frequency, reducing acoustic anomalies in rooms ('boom' effect, echo...), and as a broadband absorber to control low-medium, medium and high frequency reverberation.
What is their format?
- Bass traps / panels of: 600mm x 600mm x 120mm
- Finishing: Matt black - (Request for others colors)
- Boxes of: 4 units. - area coverage = 1.44 m2
- Normal packaging: 62cm x 62cm x 48cm (0.19m3 / 5 Kg.)
How much do I need?
It is advisable to install the same number of bass traps in each corner of the room, to maintain the balance and symmetry.
The following image contains a rough guide with the number of units installed and the degree of sound absorption obtained.
Light | 2 units in each corner; useful for small rooms. |
---|---|
Medium | 3 units in each corner; rooms from small to medium size. |
Dark | 4 units in each corner; maximum absorption for large rooms. |
* it is usual to start the installation with the 'light' assembly, in order to check the result obtained. If you want more absorption, add more units to get the 'medium' or 'dark' absorption degree.
