What are they?
HAVSVÅG panels are sound absorbers with a unique design. Their precise profiles, which combine straight lines and smooth curves, achieve an extremely effective sound absorption performance for the treatment of primary reflections and help resolve the most common acoustic anomalies in rooms (echo, high reverberation).
They are made with our special ZHFR acoustic foam, with an improved porosity coefficient to obtain the best acoustic performance in the market. Their design, which increases the effective surface absorbance by 50%, allows for easy installation in a continuous or alternate aesthetic pattern. The different cavities and waves of the profiles helps to improve the distribution of reflected sound energy throughout the room (diffusion effect).
... inspiration
The design reflects in their profile, the essence of a small town on the Mediterranean coast, where the ocean waves break incessantly against the walls that surround it, creating a diffuse, relaxing and comfortable sound atmosphere.
What is the application used for?
It is used as soundproofing treatment in music studios and for controlling reverberation and primary reflections and reducing echo and resonance waves in rooms.
They are a basic part of the sound kits; along with the bass traps, they create high-balanced acoustic performance sets.
Absorption treatment for: control rooms, recording rooms, rehearsal rooms, vocal booths, radio/TV broadcasting studios, home cinema...
What is their format?
- Panels measuring: 600mm x 600mm x thickness of 64mm
- Colours: Charcoal or Garnet
- Boxes of:
- 8 units. - area coverage = 2.88 m2
- 12 units. - area coverage = 4.32 m2
- Normal packaging:
- 62cm x 62cm x 33cm (0.13m3 / 4 Kg.)
- 62cm x 62cm x 49cm (0.19m3 / 5 Kg.)
How much do I need?
The following table gives a guide of the estimated reverberation time depending on the size of the room and the number of panels installed.
correct | acceptable** | excess / low | |
RT60 at 1kHz [seconds] | Room without treat. * | SKAB001-8 8 uts. panel | SKAB001-12 12 uts. panel |
---|---|---|---|
4m2 -- h=2.5m | 1.29 | 0.41 | 0.31 |
6m2 -- h=2.5m | 1.50 | 0.57 | 0.43 |
9m2 -- h=2.5m | 1.77 | 0.77 | 0.60 |
* The results are obtained by estimation in a standard room with the following finishes: plaster walls and plaster ceiling, parquet floor, one window and a wooden door.
** The 'acceptable' result is suitable for rooms that contain additional furniture (curtains, carpets, bookcases, chairs with fabric upholstery, sofas...)
